Career Allies Terms and Conditions
Effective 6 May 2026
Stay Nimble Ltd (Company No. 11129024)
These terms set out the agreement between you and Stay Nimble Ltd ("Stay Nimble", "we", "us") when you enrol on the Career Allies certification programme. By enrolling you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you are enrolled by your employer or another organisation, these terms still apply to you as a participant; the agreement between us and that organisation is separate.
1. The programme
Career Allies is a CPD-accredited certification programme that develops the skills, confidence, and practice needed to provide credible career support to the people you work with. The programme consists of self-paced learning modules, live Learning Circle sessions, a community of practice on Slack, and a capstone activity that leads to certification.
Specific module content, session schedules, and assessment requirements may evolve over time as we improve the programme. We will not make changes that materially reduce what you receive after you have enrolled.
2. Enrolment
You can enrol on Career Allies in one of two ways:
- Directly with us, where you pay your own certification fee.
- Through a partner organisation, where the organisation pays the certification fee on your behalf and confirms your place.
In either case, your place is confirmed when we send you a written confirmation of enrolment.
3. Fees and payment
If you are enrolling directly, the certification fee and payment terms will be set out at the point of enrolment and must be paid before you start the programme. Fees are non-refundable once you have started the first module, except where required by law (see section 4).
If you are enrolling through a partner organisation, payment is handled between us and your organisation. You do not pay anything directly.
4. Your right to cancel
If you enrolled directly with us as a consumer (rather than through your employer), you have the right under UK consumer law to cancel within 14 days of enrolling, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, contact us in writing at the address at the end of this document.
Where you ask us to start delivering the programme during the 14-day cancellation period, you may be charged for the value of what we have already provided up to the point of cancellation.
After the 14-day period, fees paid are non-refundable. We may, at our discretion, allow you to defer your enrolment to a later cohort if circumstances make completion difficult.
5. Completing the programme
To achieve certification you need to:
- Complete the required learning modules.
- Attend the live session with a Stay Nimble career coach.
- Complete the capstone activity to the standard set out in the assessment guidance.
We aim to give you twelve months from your enrolment date to complete the certification. If you need longer, contact us. We will normally accommodate reasonable extensions where you have engaged with the programme in good faith.
6. Your badge and certification
When you achieve certification we will issue you with:
- A digital badge through Navigatr, which you claim by creating a Navigatr account.
- A record of certification via the CPD Certification Service.
Your certification is awarded in respect of you personally and is not transferable. It evidences that you completed Career Allies certification on the date awarded; it does not, on its own, qualify you to give regulated financial, legal, medical, or psychological advice.
We may revoke certification where:
- It was awarded on the basis of materially inaccurate information.
- You have seriously breached our community guidelines or these terms.
- You have brought the certification or Stay Nimble into serious disrepute.
Before revoking certification, we will tell you why and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond.
7. Community guidelines
If you join the Career Allies community on Slack after certification, you agree to:
- Treat other members with respect, regardless of background, role, or experience.
- Keep what is shared in the community confidential to community members, unless the person sharing has clearly consented to wider sharing.
- Not use the community to promote products or services unless invited.
- Not use the community for harassment, discrimination, or any unlawful activity.
We may remove content, mute, or remove members from the community where these guidelines are breached.
8. Intellectual property
All learning materials, frameworks, assessment guidance, and other content we provide as part of Career Allies are owned by Stay Nimble or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for the purpose of your own learning and your own practice as a Career Ally.
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, or publish our materials beyond your own use.
- Use our materials to deliver competing training or certification.
- Remove copyright or attribution from our materials.
Anything you create as part of the programme (including reflective work and capstone outputs) remains yours. By submitting it as part of the assessment process, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to review, mark, and store it for the purposes of running and improving the programme.
9. How we use your data
We process your personal data in accordance with the Career Allies Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights.
10. Liability
Career Allies is a learning and certification programme. We provide it with reasonable skill and care.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms is limited to the certification fee paid for your enrolment (or, where you were enrolled by an organisation that paid the fee, the equivalent of one certification fee at the standard rate then in force).
We are not liable for the actions, omissions, or outcomes of any career conversations or support that you provide to others using what you have learned. You are responsible for the support you give and for working within the limits of your competence and your organisation's policies.
11. Suspension or removal
We may suspend or remove you from the programme, without refund, where:
- You have seriously or repeatedly breached these terms.
- Your conduct in live sessions or the community has materially harmed the experience of other participants.
- You have engaged in unlawful behaviour in connection with the programme.
Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you the opportunity to put things right before taking this step.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes that affect Career Allies who are already enrolled, we will give you reasonable notice. You can find the current version on our website. Continuing to take part in the programme after a change tells us you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK you may bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first. We take complaints seriously and will work with you to resolve them.
